Meet the Team

Hi my name is Inderjit but I am better known as Indy. I took over The Cathedral Dental Practice in June 2008 and my vision is to focus on providing unparalleled patient care and offering the highest quality dentistry available today. Since qualifying from Leeds University in 1998 I have undertaken many postgraduate courses in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. I have been qualified to do Invisalign since 2004 and facial rejuvenation treatments since 2005.
I feel The Cathedral Dental Practice can offer you the total dental package of a wide variety of treatments using the latest technology coupled with fantastic customer care. I feel proud to lead the great team we have here and look forward to seeing you soon.
In my spare time I love spending time with my wife and baby daughter. I am a keen sports fan and when not at work you will most likely find me either playing football or watching Watford FC where I am a season ticket holder.

David trained at the Newcastle Dental Hospital, qualifying in 2002. He practised as an associate in Newcastle before taking a post at Sydney Dental Hospital treating patients and teaching undergraduates.
He is committed to the ongoing development of his professional skills and to delivering excellent standards of clinical dentistry. He is currently studying for a masters degree at Eastman Dental Hospital.
In his spare time David will normally been found in the gym or watching Liverpool Football club.

Sanjay qualified from Leeds in 1998 with an Honours degree and also received a distinction in Dental Public Health.
He worked in Private practice in Oxford for 6 years and during this time placed implants for dentists in several practices in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. He is now the Clinical Director of The Bank House Dental Centre in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire.
Sanjay has travelled extensively in Europe and the USA attending conventions and post-graduate courses to keep upto date with the latest developments in Implant dentistry.
He received a Fellowship form The International Congress of Oral Implantology in 2002 and Diploma in Restorative Dental Practice from the Eastmans Dental Institute in 2007.
When not at work Sanjay enjoys going to the gym and keeping fit in general. He is also an avid Liverpool FC fan. He is married to Fiona and has a baby daughter called Amaya. Click here to find out more about Sanjay.

Cathy joined the practice as one of the hygienists in July 2008. She qualified from Guys Hospital London in 1994. After 3 months of temping she took up a position in the US Navy Dental Clinic based at RAF West Ruislip, Middlesex. For 12 years she looked after the American Military and their families until the base closure in 2006. She is currently working at The Cathedral Dental Practice on Thursdays and Fridays and in London on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Cathy has brought with her new technology to clean your teeth. There is an option of using an ultrasonic scalar, polishing with sodium bicarbonate or scaling your teeth under local anesthetic. Her true passion is treating gum disease. She will help you create a home care routine which would work best for you in maintaining good oral health.
In her spare time Cathy picks up power tools and does her own DIY. She also likes growing her own flowering plants. If the weather keep her indoors then she is just another coach potato spending hours watching television.

Chris is the newest addition to the team, having joined as Practice Manager in June 2009. Chris has 8 years experience and is responsible for the smooth day to day running of the practice and supporting the team to deliver the highest standard of patient care. Chris works full-time at the practice and is always available if you have any queries. Chris lives in Littleport with her husband and has 4 grown-up children. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, crosswords and travel.

Hi, I am Mel and have been part of the team since 2004. I have been qualified since 2006. I normally nurse for David but also help Indy with the day to day running of the practice. I love talking to patients and the interaction is the main reason the job stays fresh to me. I am great with nervous patients as my quiet calm personality comes across in the surgery helping them feel more relaxed. I live in Bury and when I am not working I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and going out with friends.

Hi, I am Cathryn but I am better known as Cat. I have been nursing for 3 years and have been working at The Cathedral Dental Practice since February 2008. I really enjoy working here as we have such a great friendly close-knit team. My relaxed and caring manner will put you at ease and I will try to make your surgery time as fun and relaxing as possible. In my spare time I enjoy going out and socialising with friends.

Hi, I am Jo working at the practice in January 2007. I work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and nurse for Indy. I am a fully qualified nurse and love meeting new patients. I enjoy working at Cathedral Dental due to the large variety of treatments that I assist with.
I live in Thetford and am married with two children. I love horse riding and try and go as often as possible.

Hi, my name is Barbara and I work alongside Mandy at reception on a Thursday and Friday. I have been working at Cathedral Dental for 3 years. I will be happy to answer any questions or queries you may have so please feel to talk to me. I live on the outskirts of Bury and have two teenage children. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors and especially like spending time in my garden.
